For the most part... XD
I'm part of the yearbook this year and I get to decide which pictures go where!
For the most part... XD

So, one of these has finally been finished; YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! This is me and EclipsedFlame, dressed up as Dragonborn from the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Tauriel from The Hobbit. ...I'm finding it really hard to concentrate right now because there is some high-pitched whining noise outside that sounds like a really loud vacuum that someone sucked a dog into so my sentences may be off a bit. And here is a, uh... small blooper gallery... XD You can click on the pictures to see them bigger.
Yeah so I like to make new themes for my laptop once in a while. I've made a Zelda theme (more like Link theme but whatevs XD), a Portal/Portal 2 theme (everyone kinda got scared of the turret and GLaDOS voices speaking to me from my computer and that was GREAT), and now I have updated to a SKYRIM THEME; ALL RIGHT!!! So here is my desktop picture of Alduin. :D It's a lower resolution (about half the original) so if you want it and you want it full-res I'll send it to you. This is actually one I edited (I just added the logo up in the corner). I also got about three sound packs with tons of sound effects, so I changed a bunch of my notification noises to dragon roars, quest update sounds and my empty recycling bin noise is a stab, apparently...
But mostly I just changed it to dragon roars. So I nearly jump out of my skin whenever I get an email. XD Also, here is a bunch of cool pics I use as a screensaver. Whooooooooooooooooooooooo I got a bunch of inspiring ideas for a new book (hahahahaha I'm such a procrastinator. What happened to Princess of the Rocky Hills? XD I actually am not planning on abandoning that one; I like the story of Satara way too much). So. Here's the kick. The Shroud's origin is unclear, right? So I'm going to leave it that way at the beginning. Let's start with her in full mysterious attire, balancing/levitating on a sword's hilt (refer to picture). All around her are other swords, stuck in the ground the same way. There's a dark mist hanging around everything; there is no vegetation, just rocky crags and formations here and there. This is basically her "home" or hideout or whatever. These swords are not regular blades - they're rune blades. They channel magic through them and adapt to the identity of the weilder - basically becoming one with them. Some people have a unique special element they can control - and it's not the four boring ones that everyone always sees in the Last Airbender. I mean, they include those, but they're separated out into something more like this (suggest more if you have a good idea): Light, Darkness, Electricity, Fire, Water, Ice, Earth, Air, Alchemy (it sounds weird but it's basically just poison and some other scientific stuff.), Cosmic (sun and stars? Yep, their blades become literally starfire), and the plain old mormal. And the Shroud is one of the normal people who don't have an element. But it's not really that sad... for the Shroud, anyway. Half of the non-elemental majority have some sort of special gift, whether it's good fighting skills or light telekinesis or telepathy, whatever. About 25% have a stronger gift, and 24% have two to three gifts. Less than 1% of non-elemental people are blessed with a large variety of extremely strong gifts - which basically makes them prodigies and almost (well, okay. WAAAAAAAAAAAY) better than elemental people. The Shroud is one of these - a rare specimen, I guess you could say. So, seeing as I wrote this little Shakespearean sonnet for an English assignment (I was out of ideas, okay?!)... Running a hand along the sharp edge, The warrior’s eyes glow blue with wrath. From the past came the echoes of a pledge, Long forgotten but carving her life’s path. Before her lay the agent of her pain, His life and memory spilled on the ground. Yet what was there profitable to gain From revenge won implacable and unbound? Through perhaps she was now free of her oath, A price weighed heavily on her young head: Guilt or repentance; she could choose both, But she rejected each notion and fled. Instead, in her heart a new pledge was vowed; She would be known as a hero: The Shroud. You can kinda draw a conclusion on what her past was by the beginning of the sonnet - something about she swore an oath to some guy to work for him - I'm just gonna make something up right now: an Assassin or something. And the reason she did this was because he took her family hostage? Her mom somehow got away but her father, brother and sister were taken. I am literally ad-libbing right now XD okay, so the guy (his element is Alchemy, btw) doesn't really like her that much, but she's really good, and she really wants him to set her family free. Then blah blah blah happens and he kills her family so she kills him and flees. Let's forget the hero part of the sonnet and just go straight to a different version of my TLA bio. So the Shroud goes into a rage and dresses the way I have it written (go to the TLA bios page) and starts hiring out as a mercenary or assassin or whatever. At first she uses a normal sword, but the money she gets lets her start to forge her own: the ultimate runeblade, one that absorbs whatever element she is attacked with and lets her use it as she wishes. In addition to her gifts of telekinesis, telepathy, some sort of sixth sense (she can sense anything, almost like seeing the future)? and strong warrior abilities, this makes her pretty much invincible. So after a while she sets up the runeblade graveyard - all the rune blades of the elemental people she has killed stuck in the ground all around her like a garden. She is in the exact center of the over 8,000 blades of the people she has killed, balancing on the hilt of her sword like shown in the picture.
Yes, this is The Shroud XD and lemme tell you, she took a TON of work. This is made with the Fresh Paint thingy that I used for all my abstract thingies - except it got MAJOR updates, so now I can use watercolor and pencil and all that stuffs. So here is basically how she went - I had several trashed attempts that I'm not showing. :P Also I started off with a picture. I can't draw from scratch on the computer. They're small - but it's a gallery, so click on them. Below is the completed thing - I'm not exactly fond of the color of her face, but I guess that can't really be fixed now without a lot of hassle.
I'm participating in Ensemble this year, or more like next year... since I perform next year. Ya know? It's in June, in Houston (at least I think it is). If any of you want to come you better plan in advance XD but anyway, this is the song I'm performing with a bunch of other people at the same time. It's like an orchestra of pianos. Anyway my teacher and her son are playing it here - you may want to turn up the volume; it's quiet. I'm the primo - the top part. SOMEBODY TELL ME HOW TO EASILY MAKE MONEY IN THIS GAME WITHOUT FIGHTING MAMMON...
I keep dying trying to fight common enemies for pg. It's pitiful, I know... My party consists of a Thief, a Summoner, a Ranger, and a Spell Fencer. I'm only beginning chapter 3 and I have yet to tackle Einheria for the Valkyrie job which I REALLY WANT... Given my standards and my current place in the game, this may be difficult for anyone to answer XD oh well. I just really want Norende weapons. Introducing: the official Clover outfit and profile.
This is just an outline of what I've decided she looks like. She looks like this in all her incarnations. I haven't colored yet; and if you guys know anything about Clover, her hair has light green tips. Yes, she is wearing pants. -_- Lol I had someone ask me what she's wearing on her legs. Again, it's still not colored, although Clover mostly wears white anyway... I actually kinda borrowed a model for this... not exactly proud of that, but it turned out real great. Because I could draw the HANDS!!! I DREW THE HANDS CORRECTLY, GUYS!!! AAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!! *cries in joy* Just kidding that would be weird O.e anyway, here you go. Helloooo, Clover! And me has da sheet music for an even more complex version. :3 In other words, the second one. Kyle Landry is such a much more awesome piano player.
For some reason the Best Buy people up in Illinois are just plain fat liars. We're up there trying to get this 2 for 1 3DS game sale and they're all out of stock. Well the deal says once you order it the product will ship to the store and you can pick it up. But the website won't even let you checkout if there's no stock in the store. And the Best Buy people in Downers Grove are all like, "Oh no, we're never gonna get those games in again. Sorry." And then a week later, guess what? They have both of the games I wanted and they won't honor their deal. "Oh it's over now. Can't do a raincheck." Huh. Well, my dad captured a screenshot of both games in his cart, one for $40 and one for $0, as the deal said. Bring it down to Texas, and guess what? THOSE GAMES ARE NOW MINE. WAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Yeah, so I got Bravely Default and Pokemon X. It kinda helped that the two customer service guys who helped us out were huge Nintendo nerds (like me) and were all like "Oh yeah, totally. We'll give you that." Then we started talking about the two new Zelda games coming out and discussing Lucina and Robin but not Chrom being in the new Super Smash Bros (well, Chrom is, but only in Robin's final smash).
I already started Bravely Default, and I have to say: I have no idea what I'm doing. XD It's almost like Pokemon but with the fact that you're almost always outnumbered AND you can save turns for later/use future turns that have been saved up. Pokemon X I have yet to start. But I'm already excited. I'm probably gonna take Bravely Default out of my 3DS and just play Pokemon X for a month, since I already know the basic mechanics of Pokemon. XD |
